The Photographic Arts Collective was founded in 1996, under the auspices of the Arts
Council of Greater New Haven. Since that time, we have worked persistantly in bringing quality
photograpy related events to New Haven. A few highlights have been our
8x10 Polaroid Portrait Sessions, our implementation of the Camera Gargantua during the International
Festival of Arts & Ideas, countless photo exhibitions, and a steady stream of interesting
speakers and topics at our monthly meetings. The purpose of this site
is to expand upon our steady base, and offer more every-day resources to our members, as well
as the photographic community at large.
